This latest grand design building is located in Ungasan, part of Bali South Coast where the contour of the land is very challenging.

Sharp edges cliff can be unstable in some part hence the idea of basement to anchor the building to the ground without compromising on stability of the structure.

In every project, I always priorities view and work around the landscape other than the other way around. Because I belive, beautiful space affects overall experience whoever lives in it.

This house is in a larger scale build, it accommodates multiple ensuite bedrooms, large open plan basement, spa, gym area, living room where majority of it featured ocean view.

The swimming pool is truly a conversation piece, it sits in courtyard right in the heart of the house with multiple socialising spot to host large family party.

Vast ocean view in front of the house in conjunction with sharp geometric build and combination of rugged landscape around the house is magnificent combination to this project has to offer.

Ungasan is part of South West Bali where it is quite hilly.
This site sits on one of cliff edges facing java strait where vast open water meets Indian ocean for spectacular panoramic view.
This magnificent trait is one of best quality of this build.

The landscape is key brief of this project, building a private retreat where my client can wind down and resort during their free time as well as a house that can accommodate private functions to host small gathering.

Large courtyard where infinity pool paired with sunken seating area complete with open fire pit at the back of the house are some of the brief that my client and I managed to visualize for this site.

The main building of course is another masterpiece where the second half of the building is elevated, held by Y shaped steel beam for added height and simplicity.

All the opening along the first floor comprises full length tempered glass which has fantastic additional effect where blue skies can reflect up on its surface for one of those seamless effect.

Uncluttered and clean is some of the words that I can come up when explaining about this site. It's challenge has brought so much inspirations for this build.

Last but not least, this is the aerial view of the cliff house. As you can Imagine the overall scale of this build, U shaped ultra modern architecture right in cliff edge of ungasan with spectacular view.

I can only think, its only very fitting to design high octane contemporary style residential building which is suited to this magnificent location.
